Satisfying

Thinking about food is a time consuming affair.  I have to sneak that thinking into strategic chunks of time, sometimes right in front of the refrigerator.

Who am I cooking for?  Who likes fish? Who will eat the potatoes?  Did I cover all the family members so that no one is left without something to eat.  This dish covered everyone.  I love it all while others prefer one or two of the ingredients.  Salmon, potatoes, tomatoes.

Stuffed baked potatoes

I look through magazines often.  All kinds of magazines.

I found a recipe in a Food magazine from KRAFT that involved baking potatoes and then adding a meat filling on top.  The potatoes don't hold up well so I made a potato bed and added my meat on top. Then finish it off with a bit of sour cream.

The french fry lover

Grasshopper loves french fries.

I helped her make her own.  We peeled and cut the potatoes.

Patted them dry and added salt.

Frying in the wok.  They were delicious.  I have to figure out how to make them more crispy but everything else about them was fabulous.
