Saturday morning ritual

Custom Omelets are the rage chez moi on Saturday mornings.  Well, I like making them and found some hungry souls who don't mind eating them.

For the kid who enjoys a good omelet with onions.   So, the request is ONLY ONIONS on the inside.  The onions are sauted in butter and are sweet and soft to the palate.

The more accepting adult enjoys the omelet filled with those same onions, plus mushrooms and a sprinkle of uncooked green onion.  A fruit side is a must and the sausages are a less frequent delight only because I forget to come home with some from the store.

I feel happy the troops ate and I had a chance to cook...  I am convinced it is an art that can be learned and individualized.

Eggalicious

Scrambled eggs with chives.
Quick to prepare and very tasty while warm. It hits the spot when accompanied with something as lovely as tomatoes.

The incredible edible egg

Weekend breakfast especially prepared by TJ.

I love this stuff. Eggs, bacon, and toastred bread.

Eggs

Grasshopper seems to have a fascination for pealing. She tried pealing the shell off hard boiled eggs.

Gently.

Almost done. I love teaching them tricks I have learned myself.

She will add this to a potato salad. One more skill under her belt.
